2nd Annual Paws To Claws 5K

The 2nd Annual Paws to Claws 5K to benefit the Animal Welfare League will be held Saturday October 4th with the race beginning at 9am on the Lawrenceburg Square. You do not have to run or walk to attend – you can register for the shirt and enjoy the other events. A special performance by Jami Grooms will begin at 10am. Pit bull kissing booth featuring Sierra and Roger, League mascots and rescue dogs who advocate for their breed and Cooper, a League rescue who has been adopted, along with others will be present. Former League rescues who have been adopted will attend with stories from their owners about their new lives. Yummy baked goods will also be available for purchase. An adoption event will be held throughout the day. LCHS Junior Varsity cheerleaders will also be on hand to help out! If you would like to appear with an adopted League animal please let us know!
